Deficiency Detect Corp. operates under the business name "Deficiency Detect." Throughout these Terms of Service, "Deficiency Detect" refers to Deficiency Detect Corp.

    No Refund Policy

    All sales of Deficiency Detect subscriptions are final. We do not offer refunds for any portion of your subscription, whether monthly or yearly.

    1. Please ensure you understand the features and benefits before subscribing. The app clearly outlines all billing-related options and their consequences.
    2. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

    Subscription Management

    You can manage all aspects of your Deficiency Detect subscription, including cancellations and pauses, directly within the 'Settings/Billing' pages of the app.

    1. Cancellation will stop future billing.
    2. Access to the service will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.
    3. No pro-rated refunds will be issued for partial billing cycles.
    4. Any actions related to pausing or modifying your subscription will be clearly explained within the app's billing interface.

    Free Trial

    Deficiency Detect offers a 2-week free trial on monthly plans. After the trial period, the card on file will be charged for your selected subscription plan.

    1. You will be notified before your trial ends.
    2. You can cancel at any time during the trial to avoid charges.
    3. By continuing to use the service after the trial, you authorize us to charge your card.

    Service Description

    Deficiency Detect is a site team app designed to simplify construction deficiency tracking.

    1. Our platform helps project managers and site teams efficiently log, track, and manage construction deficiencies.
    2. Features include photo attachment, area file uploads, assignment of deficiencies, status updates, punchlists, and reporting.
    3. We offer monthly and yearly subscription plans to suit your project needs.
    4. A mobile-friendly web app is available for on-site deficiency management.

    Acceptable Use

    Users of Deficiency Detect agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

    1. You may not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
    2. You may not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the service's operation.
    3. You are responsible for the content you create and share through the platform.
    4. You agree to not share login credentials with unauthorized users.
    5. You agree to not scrape, or attempt to scrape, any data from the site.

    BuildBot AI Disclaimer

    Deficiency Detect includes access to BuildBot, a custom-trained AI tool designed to assist with construction code inquiries and general support.

    1. While we strive to ensure BuildBot provides accurate and helpful responses, Deficiency Detect does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any response given by the AI.
    2. BuildBot's responses are for informational purposes only and should not be considered legal, regulatory, or professional advice.
    3. Users are solely responsible for verifying AI responses against the Ontario Building Code or consulting with a licensed professional before making decisions based on AI-provided information.
    4. Deficiency Detect assumes no liability for actions taken based on BuildBot's responses.
